Losing weight fast comes with a catch
The medication’s working, the scale’s moving, and that feels great.

But rapid weight loss can come at a cost: you risk losing muscle and bone alongside fat, compromising your strength, metabolic health and long-term results.

  • You’re losing weight, but you feel softer and weaker, not stronger.
  • Your energy’s dropped and everyday things feel harder than they should.
  • You’re worried about what happens to your body when you come off the medication.
  • You’ve heard you can lose muscle and bone on it, and you don’t know how to protect them.
  • Your appetite’s so low you’re not sure you’re eating enough of the right things.
  • You want the loss to be fat, not the muscle you’ve worked for.
  • You’re not sure how you should be training or eating while you’re on it.

The weight loss is the easy part now.
What you protect now is the body you keep after the medication.

The hard part is making sure what you lose is fat, and what you keep is the muscle and bone that hold your metabolism, your strength and your shape for the long run. The sooner you start protecting them, the more of your results stick.

  • Muscle keeps your metabolism up, so protecting it now is what stops the weight creeping back later.
  • The bone you keep now is what protects you from fractures and frailty down the track.
  • Resistance training is the one thing shown to hold onto muscle through rapid weight loss.
  • Eating enough protein on a low appetite takes a plan, not willpower.
  • The people who keep the weight off are the ones who built strength while they lost it, not after.

Wherever you are in your journey, it’s not too late to protect what matters. The best time to start was your first week on it. The second best time is today.

  • Physiotherapy

"I want to train but I’ve got aches and I’m not sure where to start.”

Find what’s limiting you, settle any niggles and rebuild the movement, so you can train safely while you lose weight.

  • Strength & conditioning

“I’m losing weight but I feel weaker.”

Progressive strength work, the one thing proven to protect muscle through rapid weight loss, coached and safe so your body holds onto what matters.

  • Personal training

“I don’t know how I’m meant to train on this.”

Your weekly 45-minute session is one on one with a physio, built around your body, your medication and where you’re at.

  • Group training

“I do better with support around me.”

Small-group strength sessions for the work that protects muscle, with the accountability of training alongside others on the same path.

  • Dietetics

“My appetite’s gone and I don’t know if I’m eating the right things.”

A dietitian makes sure you’re getting enough protein and nutrition to hold your muscle while you lose fat, built around a low appetite rather than fighting it.

How it works

Three steps to lose fat and keep your strength

No guesswork and no signing up to something you’re unsure about. Starting is simple, and you’ll know exactly what happens next.

Step 1: Book your assessment

A physio-led session to understand your body, your history, your medication and your goals, and to map the plan that protects your muscle and bone while you lose weight.

Step 2: Start your 12 weeks

One 45-minute 1:1 physio-led session and two small-group strength sessions a week, plus a dietitian check-in every few weeks, all built around you and your appetite.

Step 3: Keep the results

Progress week on week, then roll into ongoing membership at the same rate, so the muscle, strength and habits you build last well beyond the medication.

The 12-week program

$80 a week less than the standard rate, and the bonuses below are on us.

Strong on GLP-1 FAQs

Answers to common questions about training, nutrition and getting started on GLP-1.

  • No. We don’t prescribe or supply any medication. That stays between you and your doctor. What we do is the strength and nutrition side that protects your muscle, bone and results while you’re on it.

  • Fast weight loss from any cause takes some muscle and bone along with the fat, and GLP-1 medications are no exception. The good news is that resistance training and enough protein are proven to protect them, and that’s exactly what this program is built around.

  • Yes, and this is where the dietitian comes in. We build your nutrition around a low appetite rather than fighting it, so you get enough protein to hold your muscle without forcing big meals.

  • This is the whole point of starting now. The muscle, strength and habits you build while you’re on it are what keep the weight off and your metabolism up once you stop. People who build strength during the loss hold their results far better than those who don’t.

  • Yes. Most people we work with are starting again, not carrying on. Your assessment meets you where you are, and everything builds from there at a pace that suits you.

  • It is when it’s physio-led, and that’s the point. We assess any niggles or old injuries first, then build a program around them so you get stronger safely.

  • No referral needed. You can book your assessment directly. If you have a plan or referral from your GP, bring it along and we’ll factor it in.

  • It's $150 a week for the 12-week block, down from $230. There's no lock-in beyond the 12 weeks, and you can roll into ongoing membership at the same rate if you want to keep building.

  • Most people feel stronger and more energetic within the first few weeks, with strength and body composition changes building steadily from there. Consistency is what makes it stick.
